Granite
Granite is a natural stone formed by intense heat which creates its density and hardness. Granite does require sealing although many are accepting of lifetime sealers and even have a resin coating on them. Since granite is created by heat you can put hot pans directly on them.

Quartz
(Engineered stone) Quartz countertops are a composition of crushed aggregate commonly granite, marble and glass bonded by polymer resins. Many quartz are made to replicate marble for a durable classic look or enhanced with glass for a contemporary sparkly feel. Quartz is a product that needs no sealing but does require hotpads as it can discolor or crack from heat.

Natural Stone
Natural stones including Marble, Limestone, Soapstone, Travertine and more. These all can be used as countertops but have many different care options involved with each. Most are soft and susceptible to scratching and staining.

Onyx
Onyx is a countertop made of Alumina and Polyester resins. Onyx primary use is vanity tops and shower bases and walls. Onyx will burn and scratch so we recommend it for bathrooms. Onyx can be formed with a sink in vanities to be one piece seamless application. We also do many window ledges, shower seats and tub surrounds with Onyx.

Laminate
Laminate is our entry level countertop. We do lots of Wilsonart and Formica but have access to many lines. Generally a 6-8 week lead time but we do have a fabricator that will provide a 2-3 week lead at an increased cost.
Showers
This is a new introduction by Silestone. We now offer quartz bases for a durable and contemporary base. You can now bring a marble look to your shower floors and walls. We have 1.2 cm, 2 cm or 3 cm thickness for wall to accommodate any weight or building codes or restrictions.
